Buttonwood Business Center

is located at 3610 Buttonwood Dr. in Columbia, MO.  They have been offering office space and professional support services to businesses in this area since 1998. They currently have approx 100 tenants (physical and virtual) using their services.

You will find start up companies to corporations utilizing the office space and services provided by BBC.  From free parking to free coffee…..they work hard for their clients.  Oh yea, they provide other important things such as technology services, a Receptionist staff, conference rooms and 24 hr access to the building, just to name a few.

BBC has been a customer of ours for over 10 years.  They recently upgraded their Nortel telecommunications system to a new Panasonic TDE 200 IP enabled system to allow them to offer even more services and support to their clients.  Their due diligence kept leading them back to BT Services as they reviewed other companies, products, and reliability.  Quite simply, no one else offered as much technology as BTS for the same price.  June Seboldt (Manager of BBC) already knew she wouldn’t find anyone that offered the same quality customer service!  As her and Julie Scott  (owner) reviewed proposals, it soon became apparent that they would be getting another system from BT Services. 

Now that the easy part was over, it all had to be implemented!  June and Linda Crowley worked diligently on a plan that would work for all.  The system was cut over on a Saturday that worked for everyone (no Mizzou home game) and avoided down time for tenants.  Brad O’Neal spent numerous hours manipulating the data base information and programming the system to meet the individual requirements of each tenant.  BT Services technicians Jeff Layton and Daniel Ellebracht worked on project implementation as well.

Not only is the customer now enjoying the reliability of the new Panasonic system they also have some great new feature enhancements such as VoIP,  Unified Messaging, Communications Assistant Operators Console, as well as saving approx $100.00/month on a new call accounting solution that we offered.

The entire BT Services team would like to thank June and Julie, as well as the whole Buttonwood staff for allowing us to work with them on the project.  It was actually a fun atmosphere and they went above and beyond to make us feel right at home.  Well………that is their business!

Mid America Harley Davidson

is located at 5704 Freedom Dr. in Columbia.  They have been selling and servicing Harley Davidson and Buell Motorcycles since 2001.  MAHD is owned by husband and wife team, Steve and Laura Tuchschmidt.  One trip to their shop and you will realize what a great team they have and experience their intense passion for motorcycles.  Plus, you can shop out there for hours!  Please visit their website at   

Ultimately it’s about taking care of your customers.  Steve realized that their existing antiquated telephone system (from a different vendor) was not allowing them to serve their customers as well as he would like.   Plus, by upgrading their communications platform it would better enable them to provide the type of customer service required in today’s competitive marketplace.  After a couple of surveys & design sessions with BT Services, they elected to purchase the Panasonic Converged IP solution.

The Panasonic system was very competitively priced compared with the other bids they received.  But ultimately it was the Panasonic name, reliability, and flexibility that sold Steve and Laura.  Karla, their Office Manager, also liked what she had heard about BT Services from other customers.  They agreed that they were looking for a vendor that they could partner with for years to come.

We provided the sales and service staff at MAHD with Panasonic wireless phones to cover the shop.  This allowed them the needed mobility to better serve their customers while answering questions, checking parts, prices, or to confirm that they still have a sweet Fat Boy for sale on the showroom floor!  Specific ring groups were set up so that their customer calls were routed appropriately and answered immediately.  They are also utilizing a Unified Messaging feature that allows them to retrieve voice mail messages via email or on their smart phones when they are on the road. 

As Steve mentioned, they “love the system and wish they would have had it installed years ago”.  He felt that our installation and project management of the job was what pulled it all together to make for a smooth cutover.  Our on-site support team of Linda Crowley, Daniel Ellebracht, and Brad O’Neal all agreed that this was one of the most enjoyable installations that we have had for quite some time.  Mid America Harley Davidson’s group made us all feel right at home!  We would really like to thank Steve, Laura and the rest of their team for allowing us the opportunity to serve them and we look forward to the opportunity to continue to earn their business!  Stop in and see them, they would love to show you around and answer any questions you might have.  “Join the Family”
